Moisturizer hailed as ‘wonder cure’ for children’s eczema and adult psoriasis is on sale for £4

An over-the-counter baby moisturizer has been praised as a 'wonder cure' for two chronic skin conditions: children's eczema and adult psoriasis. The product was created by Child's Farm, a small British business founded in 2010, and is currently on sale at UK retailers such as Boots and Asda for £4 ($5.22). If you live in the US, the price fluctuates from $5 to $30, according to Google Shopping, but considering the cream's glowing reviews, that's a bargain. The product is also available to batch buy on Amazon.

Recently, people have raved about the moisturizer on social media. In a viral Facebook post, Laura Gray wrote:

"Needed to share this with you all. I suffer from psoriasis, have done for years. I get it all up my arms, neck and chest and up until yesterday only hydrocortisone cream would get rid of it, but it’s really harsh and only pharmacists can give it you. Yesterday my Mam told me try this baby moisturiser, I’m not joking 24 hours later my psoriasis is gone. Anyone suffering with psoriasis or eczema you need to try this."

Last year, mother Paige Sweeney said that the cream cured her three-year-old daughter Evie-Rae's eczema, after several other medications failed. "I’ve tried everything in an attempt to help Evie-Rae," she told the Nottingham Post.

"She has had eczema since she was born, then when she was five weeks old she was diagnosed with a milk allergy. Her eczema was so painful that she didn’t sleep through the night until she was two. She was constantly scratching and bleeding."

"I saw the moisturizing cream on the shelf in Boots and decided to give it a go," she continued. "Within a matter of days I could see her skin starting to clear up. I couldn’t believe it. The NHS [National Health Service] could save a fortune if they put it on prescription." Paige shared the stunning before-and-after photos on Facebook, which were shared more than 40,000 times, The Independent reports.

The cream also helped six-month-old Kelisha, who suffered from eczema so bad it looked like she was burned. "Her face was full of patches as if she’d had boiling water poured over her," said her mother, Joanne, The Daily Mail reports. "It was just a big scab. She was always scratching and uncomfortable...a lot of people would look at her funny. I felt like they were judging me."

After numerous doctors and medications failed to help, Joanne turned to the internet, and stumbled upon an article about Child's Farm baby moisturizer. After applying the cream, which is made from natural ingredients, Kelisha's complexion dramatically improved in four weeks.

"She was more settled and happy because she wasn’t as itchy and agitated," said Joanne. "She had always been a happy, smiley baby, even when her skin was bad, but once we started using the products she was smiling all the time."

"Kelisha’s skin is completely clear now," the 28-year-old mother continued. "I am just over the moon to have such a happy baby back again. "When her skin was bad I could only dress her in baby grows, everything else was uncomfortable, so it was such a brilliant feeling just being able to dress her in normal clothes."

Assuming the testimonials are true, children's eczema and adult psoriasis were cured by a budget brand - not a product from a giant pharmaceutical company.
