Bunny and Carrot Bunting

You will need:

  • Various colours of A4 card
  • 2 x A4 orange card
  • Scissors
  • Fork
  • White wool
  • Green wool
  • String

Method:

  1. Start by drawing a bunny shape and cut it out. Repeat this with other pieces of coloured card.
  2. Draw a carrot shape onto a piece of orange card. Cut this out and then trace around it to make 8 card carrots.
  3. To make the bunny tails, use a fork to create small pom poms. To do this, cut off a small piece of wool and thread it through the middle of the fork prongs. Then using more wool, wrap around the fork several times until you have the desired thickness of the pom pom. Cut excess and then using the threaded piece of wool from the beginning, tie the wrapped wool together. Remove from fork and then begin to cut around the outside to reveal the pom pom. Neaten with scissors.
  4. After you have made 9 tails, glue them all onto the bunnies!
  5. For the carrot tops, cut small pieces of green wool and glue to the top of the carrot.
  6. Now to make them into bunting, glue (or tape) the string onto the back of the bunnies and carrots, leaving a good space between each. Cut off excess string and hang.
