Dad Creates Heart-Warming Illustration Cards To Mark His Child's First Milestones

The early stages of a child's life are some of the most exciting because they are changing so rapidly. That's why we parents are so keen to document all of their milestones; from the day they sit up for the first time unassisted to their first word. And one dad decided to do something particularly special to mark his baby's milestones.

Mr. Miller, whose first name is unknown, is an artist, and his wife Sarah wrote on Bored Panda that when she was pregnant with their first child, he put his skills to good use, creating illustrations to mark all of their early milestones - right up until their first solid food which, naturally, was celebrated with an illustration of Jaws!

Miller's choice of characters for his milestone illustrations were no accident either. He and his wife are both huge Disney fans. She revealed that he used this to inspire many of the designs, writing that this was a lot more personal than the type of cards which are typically sold in stores - after all, no two children are the same!

What do you think of Miller's illustrations? They're a testament to the fact that the personal touch really is the best. Perhaps you've been inspired to create illustrations of your own, or perhaps do something else to mark your baby's milestones? If it's the latter, share your ideas in the comments section!
