Brides Will Never Have To Struggle In The Bathroom Again With This Simple IKEA Bag Hack

As the cliché goes, your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life. You are, after all, getting married to the person you love most in front of all your friends and family. It's a real tearjerker in the best possible way.

But you know what else can bring a bride to tears, and not in a touching, sentimental way? Not being able to go to the bathroom without it turning into an unnecessarily stressful mission.

Well, one crafty bride prepared herself for the worst - and by the "worst", I mean a real toilet disaster.

Knowing that she would struggle to perform the basic task of going for a pee in her gorgeous mermaid wedding dress, she created her own makeshift toilet aid using nothing more than an IKEA bag and a pair of scissors.

Pleased with her efforts, the bride then shared the hack on her Facebook page, writing:

"Well, I got married a few weeks ago (in a mermaid wedding dress) and I was really worried about going to the bathroom and not being able to … handle myself. Someone helping or watching me going to the bathroom on my wedding day? Not being able to have free hands to use the toilet paper? Or even worse if my period decides to show? NO WAY!

"My bridal bathroom helper hack costs about 0.80 euro and I did it the day before my wedding. It took only 3 minutes. What I like best is it’s almost free and allows me to make my life easier on my wedding day. So here is the hack."

All you have to do is cut a large hole at the bottom an IKEA bag, then the pull the bag up, catching the dress in the process so there won't be any accidents. It's simple and very effective.

Of course, plenty of women decided to give their two cents in the comments, with a number of them sharing their own tips for brides desperate for a trip to the little girls' room.

"I've been advised that it is easier when wearing a wedding dress to use the loo facing backwards!" One woman wrote. "May need someone to hold up the skirt but possibly a little more private."

"My dress was huge with a very long train," another added. "I was commando for the reception and I lifted the front of my dress and sat on it front ways if that makes sense. I didn't have any help once to go to the loo."

"I just took mine off in the hotel room before going the toilet. I don't really drink so I only had to go a few times throughout the day," a third chimed in.

Know of any brides who might want to try out this hack?
