These Eggcelent Easter Crafts Will Put A Spring In Your Step This Easter

Easter is one of the most family-friendly holidays of the year. Once a festival celebrating the death and resurrection of Christ, it's now a more generic celebration of spring and everything that comes with it - bunny rabbits, lambs, blooming flowers. All that lovely stuff.

And of course, Easter eggs. Sure, most kids might not realize that they symbolize the rolling of the stone away from Jesus' tomb, but that doesn't stop them from waiting in eager anticipation for a visit from the Easter bunny!

But aside from Easter eggs, arguably the most iconic thing that we've come to associate with the holiday is the Easter bonnet. Like Easter eggs, this stems from Christian traditions and remains a great way for kids to get creative.

But if you're a crafty grownup, or simply want to give your kids something different to do this Easter, worry not. We've got your back. Here are 15 incredible Easter crafts that actually double as Easter decorations!

1. Bronze Easter eggs

If you're anything like me, you'll love decorating your home with not just flowers, but a whole lot of candles too. Unfortunately, however, they can be on the pricey side. But, as we all know, tealights are as cheap as chips, and with this simple DIY, you can create a seasonal candle display that's not only easy on your eyes but your wallet!

3. Pom-pom bunny tail garland

Isn't this adorable? What's more, it's something you can display all year round - especially in your little one's bedroom. All you need for this is a free printable template, colored paper string, pom poms, and if they're willing, your kids' help!

4. Easter bunnies

This is the perfect craft if you've got young kids because it's so simple. Just paint your wooden spoon, attach some googly eyes, paint on a rabbit's face and then make some felt ears. Once attached, they'll have a toy to enjoy the whole holiday, or use them to put on a puppet show!

5. Wire bunny ear tiaras

These are a gorgeous looking craft and surprisingly simple to make too! They will make your eggs look that bit prettier for the season, and if your kids' school happens to have an Easter fete, I reckon they'd be a big seller.

6. Button egg

This is a great idea if you've got an hour or two to spare, or if your kids are a little older and are looking for a challenge. It not only looks great, but it can easily be reused year after year. It's very cheap to make too!

7. Easter bunny mason jar
