Jewelry Holder Crafts you have have to try!

Here are some clever and cute crafts to store, or show off, all your jewelry. Perfect for all ages; from the little ones starting their collection up to those with not enough storage for all their bling.

Jewelry Box

You will need:

  • Wooden jewelry box
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Felt
  • Padding

Method:

  1. Paint the box whatever colour you like!
  2. Decorate however you fancy; we kept it simple with painting on yellow flowers and a pink rim, but you can even add embellishments or other painted decoration, the world is your oyster!
  3. Once you box has dried, it is now time to start creating the felt folds that hold the rings.
  4. Cut the felt just a bit shorter than the length of the box and around 15cm in width.
  5. Cut the padding the same sizes as the felt.
  6. Make several of these, so you have enough to fill the space in the box.
  7. To make the felt folds, roll the padding and then place on top of the felt. Now roll the felt around the padding to create one little felt padded sausage!
  8. Place the felt fold inside of the box, it should fit nice and snug. If it is too long, trim it down a bit so it fits nicely inside.
  9. Do this with the other pieces until the row has covered the whole of that box section.
  10. Your box is now ready to place the rings in the folds and other pieces of jewelry to sit inside!

TOP TIP: To use even more room, if there is enough space in the bottom of the box (underneath the folds), then you could construct the folds stuck onto a piece of wood that fits nicely inside. This way it can be removed, whilst keeping the felt folds still intact and you can use the section underneath for storage as well!

Toy Trinket Dish

You will need:

  • A small toy (that is tall/the right shape to place bracelets or rings onto)
  • A small dish (we used a small pie dish)
  • Coloured spray
  • Glue gun

Method:

  1. Begin by spraying both the toy and the dish.
  2. Leave to dry.
  3. Grab that glue gun and glue the bottom of the toy onto the middle of the dish.
  4. Simple as that! Enjoy repurposing an unused toy/ornament for all your jewelry holding needs!

Mermaid Jewelry Holder

You will need:

  • Wall mounted jewelry organiser
  • Glitter tape
  • Scissors
  • Blue marker pen
  • ‘Underwater themed’ decor (e.g: a fork, a treasure chest, shells)
  • Glue gun

Method:

  1. Started by sticking the glitter tape into the top section of the organiser
  2. Once the inside of that section is covered in the glitter tape, you can start to write a cute little message/quote onto the front of the organiser.
  3. Grab the glue gun and start sticking the decor onto the organiser, in whatever composition you like!
  4. Once dry, you can now hang up the organiser and start using it for all your jewellery storage and hanging needs!

Lace Jewelry Holder

You will need:

  • 1 Embroidery hoop
  • Lace material
  • Ribbon/string

Method

  1. Insert lace material into the embroidery hoop ensuring that it is secure and tightly fitted
  2. Cut the excess material
  3. Hang up and display your beautiful earrings!
