Donald Trump supporter allegedly attacked by Cheesecake factory employees for wearing Make America Great Again hat

Employees at a Cheesecake Factory in Miami have allegedly attacked a black man for wearing a 'Make America Great Again' hat.

Eugenior Joseph, 22, was reportedly dining with his girlfriend's family at the Dadeland Mall Cheesecake Factory on Mother's Day when his MAGA hat attracted the attention of a female staff member, who gathered her colleagues around to confront him.

According to multiple witnesses, and Joseph's own account of the scenario, approximately a dozen or so employees approached the table and began circling it, pointing their fingers at him and making comments about the hat.

"Her finger was literally on top of his head, we were all looking at her like 'what is happening?'" one witness exclusively told The Daily Wire. "She was pointing at him, calling her other co-workers, telling them to look at this guy wearing a Make America Great Again hat."

The witness continued: "So then all the employees started standing there, saying things out loud, like, 'I'm going to knock his head in so hard his hat's going to come off.'"

Other witnesses for The Daily Wire apparently stated that some employees used the n-word in reference to the 22-year-old when speaking to each other, while one employee "brandished his fists", seemingly indicating that he was ready to fight.

Joseph also told The Daily Wire that one employee stood behind him fist bumped him, then starting looking at him, "balling his fists, smacking his fists, trying to scare me." In addition, he claimed that he and his girlfriend got up to use the restroom and, just before exiting, were greeted by the employees, who were "clapping and yelling, and just screaming things at me."

An eyewitness has allegedly verified his claims, stating that the employees in the kitchen were booing Joseph loudly as he walked by. In addition, one of the witnesses apparently said that the event was so traumatic and threatening that an elderly woman who was present had to take medication to calm herself down.

As the family left the Cheesecake Factory, a manager allegedly followed them out and told them that some of the employees had confessed to what they had done and one had been sent home. In addition, the family ran into police who had been called to the scene, but supposedly didn't file any charges.

When The Daily Wire, which claims that video evidence that validates Joseph's claims exists, contacted the Cheesecake Factory they eventually issued a statement on the matter.

Alethea Rowe, Senior Director of Public Relations at The Cheesecake Factory, responded to reports of the incident. She confirmed that an investigation into the incident was ongoing, saying: "No guest should ever feel unwelcomed in one of our restaurants and we are taking this matter very seriously. Upon learning of this incident, we immediately apologized to the guests in person. We are conducting an investigation and will take the appropriate corrective action."

The Cheesecake Factory added on Tuesday that two of the individuals involved had been fired, stating: "All guests should always feel welcome in our restaurants. The recent incident in one of our Miami restaurants fell short of our standards, and we apologize to the guest and his family. Two individuals are no longer employed by the company, and we are continuing to investigate."
