Movie party crafts for your little super star!
These movie party crafts are sure to make your kid's birthday bash most excellent! These crafts are all simple and fun to make, yet will make your kids feel like they are movie stars!
Ticket Invitation

You Will Need:
- Yellow card
- Scissors
- Large circle hole punch
- Black marker pen
- Fine liner pen
- Drawing pin
- Ruler
- Silver stars
Method:
- Cut the yellow card into a small rectangle, around 15cm x 10cm, and hole punch either side.
- Using the ruler, create a border by drawing lines with the black marker pen. Then draw more lines, horizontal and vertical, to create sections on the ticket design.
- To make the tearable side of the ticket, use a drawing pin to prick dots in a vertical line.
- Write on your party info and add some fancy stickers for that extra snazz appeal.
- And that’s it! Your invitation is designed and ready to give to whoever you want to go to your party!
Clapperboard Door Sign

You Will Need:
- A4 black foam board x2
- A4 White Card
- White marker pen
- Ruler
- Cutting Mat
- Scalpel
- Split pin
- Glue
Method:
- Using your ruler and scalpel cut a thin strip off the top of the foam board (grown ups only!)
- Use the cut off top strip to trace around on the white card.
- Once that rectangle shape is traced, then draw diagonal lines inside of it, alternating in width.
- Grab those scissors and cut out the diagonal shapes.
- Keep hold of the wider diagonal sections, then stick these to the thin foam board strip so that create that iconic movie black and white striped effect.
- Repeat the process with the white card again (the tracing, diagonal drawing and cutting) and use these diagonal sections to place along the top of the larger piece of foam board, in the opposite direction of the other thin strip.
- To add the element of movement to your clapper board, attach a small rectangle with glue, approx 5x10cm in size, to the back of the large board; leaving half of it sticking out at the top.
- Bring the thin strip back into the mix, by aligning it along the top of the large foam board and place it over the small rectangle sticking out.
- Now, use the split pin to connect the strip to the small rectangle, so that it can move up and down like a clapperboard!
- Once it is connected and moving correctly, you can now now start to write on the information.
- Use your white marker to create lines and add your movie party details!
- Enjoy being ( or assigning!) a director for the evening!
VIP Party Bags

You Will Need:
- Plain paper party bags (we used white)
- Black marker pen
- Black card
- Silver card
- Red card
- Silver and gold foam stars
- Large circle hole punch
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Split pin
Method:
- Cut a circle out of the black card; a size that fits on the middle of the bag nicely.
- Using your large hole punch cut one hole into the circle.
- Hole punch 5 silver circles from the silver card and stick them around your film reel.
- Cut out another large circle in red card and attach this underneath your film reel using a split pin.
- As you rotate the film reel the cut out hole with reveal the red card underneath, here is where you can put your message!
- Decorate your plain paper bag with stars, stickers and doodles, and then stick your film reel onto the centre of it.
- Once added, stick the film reel on the middle of the bag.
- Add a fancy cut out ‘VIP’, you can make this with shiny card for added snazz.
- Your VIP movie party bag is now ready to fill with lots of goodies for everyone invited!
